When making a request or order you are offering to purchase goods which we will accept to sell you on the following terms & conditions.

General

Delivery Schedule

If a product is in stock it will be despatched within 4 working days. We endeavour to keep the information on our website up to date. However, if we are out of stock of your item we will email you with an estimated delivery date when you have the option to confirm or cancel your order.

Delivery of Goods

United Kingdom

We use the carrier service DHL for all UK delivery - ALL UK DELIVERY IS FREE OF CHARGE.

Outside the United Kingdom

We use either Fedex or DHL for deliveries to destinations outside the UK.

Returns

We want you to be delighted with the products we provide, but if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any product you order from us, simply return it to us within 14 days of receipt. We will be happy to refund exchange or issue a voucher to spend with us on a future occasion, provided the product has not been worn and is returned in its original condition with its original packaging and receipt.

Please note:

• The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you obtain a free proof of postage from the Post Office and send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. 
• The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

Faulty Goods

If, after purchase, any product fails to give reasonable wear due to either defective workmanship or materials, please contact Customer Services quoting your order number, name and address, details of the product and reason for the return. We should be able to replace, repair, or refund all or part of the purchase price. Laceys Footwear operates under the Sale of Goods Acts.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Order Cancellation

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order in writing up to 8 days from the date of receipt of your goods. You must immediately return the goods at your own cost and claim a refund of the goods within the statutory period. Goods must be returned in their original condition with their original packaging and receipt.

Ownership of rights

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Laceys Footwear. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Laceys Footwear. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.

Content Accuracy

Laceys Footwear has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. The dimensions given are approximate. We have made very effort to ensure the accuracy of the colours of our products as they appear on the website. However the colours shown will vary depending on the colour settings of your monitor and we cannot guarantee they will be the same colour as the delivered goods. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Laceys Footwear disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website Laceys Footwear shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Availability

All items are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Ordering errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘Checkout’. After this you will proceed to the payment stage when your order cannot be altered.

Payment

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo or Delta. You may also pay by cheque but please be aware that orders will not be despatched until payment has been cleared in our bank. When making a request you undertake that all details you provide to us requesting goods are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to make your request and that there are sufficient funds available to cover the cost of the goods. If you are placing your order outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to the correct currency. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to these details as soon as possible. The cost of products may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to change but you will be informed of such changes and given the option to confirm or cancel your order.

Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order

If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.

Delays

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees warranties or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and are on the basis that we are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure.

From time to time we may place links on this website to other websites we think you may want to visit. We do not vet these websites and do not have any control over their contents. Laceys Footwear cannot accept any liability in respect of the use of these websites.

Exclusions of liability

Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms & conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Laceys Footwear or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

If you have purchased from our on-line store, subscribed to our newsletter and entered any of our competitions, or advised us of your e-mail address, post & telephone we may occasionally update you on news and special opportunities via e-mail, post & telephone.
